Of course, your resume was decent enough and you got an interview, but it doesn’t end there.  Interviews are the real evaluation of the boss.  This is the moment to prove to them you are deserving of that occupation.   

Understand your biodate as this is their only reference about you.  Interviewers will usually inquire regarding what is included on your biodata and their queries will be based on your skills particularly in relation to the position you applied for.  

Do your share by reading on historical data about the corporation. Visit the company’s website, find out the chief products and services, and even research on their main rivals.   If you submitted an application through an agency and the name of the owner is concealed, make it a point to read on the business so you will be knowledgeable about it during the interview.   

All through the interview, you have to look your best without exaggerating it.  It is proper to be in a corporate attire.  Look smart, in focus, and qualified and be confident.  It is also fundamental to come on time.  Not on the dot but if possible a few minutes ahead than the appointed time.   The worst error that can happen on an interview is to make the interviewer wait for you.  Respect for time means respect for other individuals.   

Present yourself in a courteous manner.  Extend a stable handshake and smile.  Body movements and facial articulation are very essential. These will reflect something about your character and outlook. You have to project self confidence and that you are creditable of that task.   

To convey your concentration, sit straight up, and listen keenly.  When the interviewer is talking, show a non-spoken response by smiling or nodding.  Try to be eloquent when responding to inquiries.   Talk with confidence, a loud tone of voice would denote anxiety and tenseness, a soft voice shows indecisions and  awkwardness.  Remain still and refrain from fiddling because it will imply that you are edgy and unsure. Attempt to keep the dialogue going by stating your opinions too. After the interview ask about the following step in the procedure.   Do not forget to thank your interviewer.  
 
In employment, there is no such thing as good luck.  It is just  opportunity and competency combined.  Employers give the chance and you must show to them that you have the capabilities they need.
